Days Inn Stevenage A1

Whilst visiting family we stayed overnight on Christmas Day… the lady ‘AJ’ who was on the reception desk was friendly, upbeat and absolutely a credit to both the hotel and the company. I thought that the service was absolutely first rate and I’d stay here again purely based on that. Thank you for making us feel welcome and for the wonderful, smiling, happy and accommodating service. Awesome. Recommended.

Amazing Staff and amazing location. I stayed for about 4 days and the 3 Asian staff (one female and 2 male receptionists) were amazing. Highly skilled. They even looked after a customer who really needed a carer due to poor mobility. They were exceptional also the Janitors who made sure the rooms and all areas were clean and tidy. Top marks for the staff. The owners of the hotels want to invest in new carpets and also new windows as they need attention. Also the owners of the shopping centre want to lower their prices as they are too steep. On the whole a amazing place. Thank you to all the staff.

Great stafff. 3 Asian staff receptionists were great throughout my stay there. Great location and great staff and also the cleaning staff Downside the carpet needs upgrading and so do the windows. On the upside it was a great place to stay as the cleanliness of the rooms made up for the carpet and windows upgrade. But still they do need a upgrade. Nice hot water. Clean and also was given towels upon request and also brand new ironing boards and irons. Also essentials can be brought at the reception. TV was great. Nice comfy beds. Soundproofing was good as I have stayed in places where the sound proofing was inefficient. When I had a problem I just went to the receptionist or rang them and they were more than happy to help. Such as I needed a iron or directions to the nearest town/village. All the staff were very helpful, polite and didn't show no attitude whatsoever. They were all professional the the highest level. So top marks to all the staff. Thank you to all the great staff.

Anjali, Harish and Akhil were all amazing at my 4 day stay. Top marks for these 3 staff members as they made my stay more pleasant. They were all down to earth and honest and went the extra mile. They are a big assest to Days Inn. Also all 3 were diamonds. The carpets and windows need attention but thats not the staffs fault but this needs to be addressed by the Heads of Days Inn.

Great value for money, polite staff and 24hour reception. Rooms lovely, a good basic

It is a basic hotel but fantastic value if you just want a bed and shower in a great location accessible to plenty of food venues, parking, petrol / charging and near a train station to London or main roads. It was just what I needed.

Really can't fault this place. Yes it's a little basic, you don't get fancy toiletries and there's no lift but honestly for the price it's a gem. Beds are comfy, it's so quiet, it's clean and I love having the services next door with the huge choice of food options.

As budget places go, this is a decent place to stay. The beds were very comfy, the shower was hot and reasonably powerful and there were enough supplies such as sugar, tea, coffee etc. Staff are friendly, especially the cleaners who did a fantastic job too. My daughter also loved the playground, which is great for small and big kids. We will be back again next year as we stayed here whilst attending Vegan Camp Out.
